CNN Heroes recognizes everyday people changing the world. "In Vietnam, Neal Bermas' nonprofit training program helps at-risk youth ages 16 to 22 transition from poverty to successful culinary and hospitality careers."

This prestigious award recognizes best practices in sustainable tourism within this global industry, based on direct benefits to the social and economic well-being of local people in travel destinations around the world. The Tourism for Tomorrow People Award is among the highest accolades in the industry and represents the gold standard in sustainable tourism. STREETS International went through a rigorous three-step judging process, which included a thorough on-site evaluation.
